Life Builders offers a variety of outreach events and workshops to the community.

We serve infants, children, adults, seniors, families, veterans, and those with disabilities. We invest our resources directly into the community.

Shiloh Foodbank and Shiloh Community Garden

Provides education programming and nutritional assistance to families in need, helping with the food crisis that so many in our nation—including working families—face daily.

Shiloh Foodbank operates year-round on the 1st Friday of each month at 4:00 pm and 3rd Thursday at 11am.

Shiloh Community Garden operates May-September.

He is Risen Easter Egg Hunts, Kids Christmas Party, and CommUNITY Christmas Blessings

Bringing families and communities together with events that create and environment that fosters socialization, a spirit of friendship and community within the community. This includes our KIN-nect family outing program. These events allow for opportunity to enhance communication and interpersonal skills, while aligning with our vision to strengthen families and communities.

CommUNITY Day

Equipping families to build success in school and life by removing barriers that distract children from focusing on learning and giving them increasing their self esteem and confidence. Kicks for Kids for Our Community gives each child a new pair of shoes.  We also equip children with school supplies. Through various partnerships other agencies will be onsite to provide goods and services.

Coats, Gloves and Love

Ensuring that every child, birth through high school, has warm weather apparel, including boots, during the most challenging time of the year with adverse weather conditions.

Loads of Love and Kicks 4 Kids in Our CommUNITY

Building esteem and dignity by providing all the necessary supplies of soap powders, dryer sheets, and quarters to help families have clean clothes.  Also building esteem and confidence to excel in school by providing youth with athletic shoes, casual shoes, sandals and boots.

Building Blocks to Success

A series of community empowerment workshops including: nutritional workshops, healthy lifestyles workshops, buying a home, credit repair, personal money management, health care options, life insurance, resume writing and preparing for an interview, and expungement clinic.

Beyond Food

Household items, cleaning items, hygiene items and baby diapers/wipes help struggling families offset some of their expenses to be able to spend their resources on other necessary expenses to care for their families.
